City remain without loanee Callum Doyle, who is continuing rehab from a calf injury sustained during the most recent international break. All parties are confident the England U21 international will return before the end of the Championship season.

Matej Jurasek looks set to be absent again after missing City's last two Championship matches. Despite Johannes Hoff Thorup confirming no injury, the Czech international is struggling to adapt to life in England.

Attacker Ante Crnac is the latest name to join Norwich City's lengthy injury list after suffering an ankle injury in their 2-1 defeat to Plymouth. He is expected to return around the Easter matches.

Duo Lewis Dobbin and Ben Chrisene are likely to miss the remainder of the Championship campaign after injuries sustained in the 1-1 draw to Blackburn earlier this month.

Lucien Mahovo's quad injury has also ended his campaign, with Norwich weighing up whether surgery is the next step. Gabe Forsyth is expected to miss the remainder of the Championship campaign after undergoing knee surgery.

Burnley are on course to break Championship records for defensive numbers, having conceded just 12 times all season. No opposing side has netted more than a single goal against Scott Parker's men in the opening 41 games.

A shoulder injury will keep striker Lyle Foster out for this evening's game with Jordan Beyer, Bashir Humphreys, Jonjo Shelvey, Aaron Ramsey, Enock Agyei, Manuel Benson, Mike Tresor all remain sidelined.

Ashley Barnes is expected to make the squad ahead of a reunion with the Canaries. Aaron Ramsey and Marcus Edwards, both one-time City loanees, could also feature. Nathan Redmond is also part of Parker's squad at Turf Moor.

Victory would take Burnley to the top of the Championship table ahead of nearest competitors Sheffield United and Leeds playing on Saturday.
