Pensacola Beach Air Show returns in 2025 with Blue Angels headlining the four-day event

PENSACOLA BEACH, Fla. --The Santa Rosa Island Authority is set to host the 2025 Pensacola Beach Air Show from July 9 to 12, with the U.S. Navy Blue Angels headlining the event.

The four-day event will include top-tier aerobatic performers, ground exhibits, and military demonstrations, culminating in the official air show on July 12.

The event kicks off on July 9, with "Breakfast with the Blues," where the Blue Angels will mark their flight paths around 7:30 a.m.

On July 10, they will conduct an over-water practice session at 2 p.m.

July 11 will feature a full dress rehearsal starting at 10:30 a.m., with the Blue Angels flying at 2 p.m.

The official air show on July 12 will follow the same schedule as Friday’s rehearsal.

Luke Carrico will debut as the voice of the air show on July 11 and 12, while veteran Paul Entrekin will serve as Air Boss for his 32nd year.

Pre-show flight demonstrations will begin around 10:30 a.m. on both days, featuring performances by the Black Ducks in WWII-era aircraft, Sheldon Heatherington in a Zenith 75 STOL named "Redbird," Gene Valentino in an Icon A-5, Tanner Matheny in a 1946 NAvion named "Olivia," and the Veterans Flight team in their WWII-era Stearman biplanes, led by Roy Kinsey.

Additional demonstrations will include HT-18 training helicopters from TAW-5 aboard NAS Whiting Field, VT-10 flying T-6 Texans from TAW-6 aboard NAS Pensacola, and a U.S. Coast Guard Search & Rescue demo from a MH-65E Dolphin.

The official air box will close at approximately 11:40 a.m., followed by a series of aerial performances.

The 2025 official performers schedule includes the USAF B-1B Lancer, the Red Bull Air Force team, aerobatics by Aaron Fitzgerald and Kevin Coleman, RJ Gritter in a Decathlon, Ken and Austin Rieder with Redline Airshows, and the Titan Aerobatic Team.

The Blue Angels will take flight at 2 p.m., closing out the show with their signature maneuvers, including the Diamond Dirty Loop, the Double Farvel, the Vertical Pitch, the Fleur-de-Lis, the Opposing Knife-Edge pass, and the Sneak Pass.

Attendees are reminded that drones are prohibited during air show waiver hours, glass is not allowed on the beach, and dogs must remain on leash at designated dog beaches.

The Santa Rosa Island Authority encourages visitors to "Leave Only Your Footprints" to help protect the beach.
