Tickets, food, rides and more: Your full guide to this year's Sydney Royal Easter Show

The Sydney Royal Easter Show runs until April 22 and promises an impressive line up of food, entertainment, rides, games and showbags for the approximately 850,000 patrons who will walk through the gates this year.

Along with all the fun and excitement that comes with a visit to the show are some logistics families should keep in mind to ensure their day runs as smoothly as possible, as well as plenty of ways to save.

Here is your guide for navigating the 2025 Sydney Royal Easter Show.

Tickets

TOP TIP: Purchase a family pass to save or visit on Kid's Day

A Family Pass costs $178 for two adults and two children.

Or you can purchase a single Adult ticket for $60, $42 for a Children and PWD (Person With Disability) ticket, and a Concession ticket costs $48.50.

For a bit of a splurge, Premium Reserve Seat Packages overlooking the main arena cost $297 for a Family pass, $94.50 for an Adult ticket, $67 for Children and PWD and $83 for Concession.

Kid's Day, the last day of the show on April 22, includes half-price tickets and two-for-one carnival rides until 4pm.

There are further savings on Kid's Day (April 22) with a Family Ticket priced at $118, Adult for $45, $17 for Child and PWD and $33.50 for Concession.

Tickets that are purchased online come with an additional $6 per transaction. Tickets can be sent to your mobile or you can print them at home using the link.

The show opens at 8.30am and runs until 9pm each day.

Can I buy Easter Show tickets at the gate?

If you've decided to head to the show on a whim, you are in luck because you can buy Sydney Royal Easter Show tickets at the gate.

But it is worth buying them in advance if you can, because it could potentially save you time in queues.

Transport

TOP TIP: Take public transport

The most affordable way to get to the show is via public transport, the cost of which is included with your ticket purchase.

Simply show your Easter Show ticket to transport staff when boarding services. Plan your trip using the Trip Planner or free Opal Travel app.

Trains: Express and limited stop trains will run regularly to Olympic Park from Central Station and Western Line stations during the Show.

You can also consider driving and parking at a nearby station commuter car park and continuing your trip into Olympic Park on the train. Alternatively Olympic Park is approximately 15 minutes' walk from Concord West station.

Buses: Sydney Olympic Park Major Event Buses will run on all nine routes each day of the Easter Show from the early morning until late at night from Friday 11 April to Tuesday 22 April. Buses run from the Northern Beaches, Inner West, Sutherland Shire, North Western Suburbs, Hills District and Southern Suburbs to Olympic Park and return.

By car: For those who want to drive to and from the show, you can pre-purchase a parking space but they do sell out quickly and already the closest parking stations for the two weeks of the show are already fully booked.

You also have to book parking the day before your ticket to the show and have until 11.59pm to do so.

Parking costs $35, with shuttle buses operating from P3 and P4 to take you right up to the entrance to the show.

Best day to visit

TOP TIP: Visit on weekdays

The busiest days at the show run over the long weekend from Easter Friday to Easter Monday.

For a less hectic experience, aim for a visit to the show on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday.

Ride and carnival coupons

TOP TIP: Download the Easter Show Fun Pass app

The easiest way to access rides and carnival games is to download the Easter Show Fun Pass app and set up a digital Fun Pass for use at the show. You connect your payment details for the initial purchase and can can easily top it up as you navigate the show and just tap your card to access rides.

Alternatively you can visit Carnival Credit Booths located throughout and add credit via your app.

You can also purchase a physical Easter Show Fun Pass at the show and top it up as you go.

Fun Pass Credit Packages are as follows (with a single credit worth $1.20):

  • 30 credits $36
  • 60 credits $68 (save $4.00)
  • 90 credits $93 (save $15.00)
  • 130 credits $123 (save $33.00) - LIMITED TIME ONLY (EXPIRES MIDNIGHT 10 APRIL)

Rides require four or more credits and carnival games need three or more.

Refunds can be requested for three or more credits for any unused amounts on both passes, although these do come with a $2.50 processing fee.

General advice

  • Information wristbands available at the show main entrance for kids in case they are separated from their parents and carers.
  • Locker hire for bags and early Showbag purchases. You can book these online or hire one on the day. These cost from $14.
  • Access the Easter Show map online via your phone or device or pick on up at the main entrance.
  • Access to free Mobile Charging Stations and WiFi Stations.
  • Access to a Quiet Room, Parents Room and Adult Assisted Change Room.

Food

TOP TIP: Bring water and snacks and save your money for lunch

It's best to bring along water bottles and plenty of snacks for hungry children to save money for a fun lunch.

There are also free Water Stations located throughout the show to easily refill water bottles.

Foods at the show can be pricey but normally come in large servings so can easily be shared.

You don't want to wait until too late or purchase Showbags as some sell out each day before being replenished.

Early morning ensures a fast and easy experience at the pavilion and is ideal for those who have hired a locker or have parked in a shaded parking station and can store them in their vehicles.
