The Royal Air Force Typhoon display team has announced its schedule for the 2025 season - including Cleethorpes' Armed Forces weekend.

The announcement comes hot on the heels of confirmation in March that the Red Arrows will once again wow crowds at the resort's premier summer event in June.

The RAF's Typhoon display will be flown by Sqaudron Leader Nathan Shawyer who was promoted earlier this year.

The Eurofighter Typhoon is described by the air force as an "extremely agile, multi-role combat aircraft" and are used throughout the RAF's current operations.

The Typhoon display team will be marking its 20th season in 2025 and the aircraft has been a regular visitor to Cleethorpes' Armed Forces weekend over the years the event has taken place.

This 2025 Armed Forces weekend will take place between Friday, June 27 and Sunday, June 29. The Armed Forces Community Carnival Parade will kick things off on the Friday night followed by parades, air displays, live music and more over the weekend.

The Typhoon display schedule for 2025 is as follows:

  • 14 - 15 June, Kauhava Airshow, Finland
  • 21 - 22 June, IWM Duxford Summer Show
  • 28 - 29 June, Cleethorpes Armed Forces Weekend
  • 28 June, Scarborough Armed Forces Day
  • 29 June, Shuttleworth Festival of Flight
  • 5 - 6 July, The Wales Air Show and Armed Forces Day, Swansea
  • 18 - 20 July, Royal International Air Tattoo, RAF Fairford
  • 26 - 27 July, Old Buckenham Air Show
  • 26 July, Shuttleworth Festival of Flight
  • 9 - 10 August, Blackpool Air Show
  • 15 - 17 August, Eastbourne International Air Show
