Foreign Minister Dr Abdullatif Al Zayani attended a meeting at the United Nations headquarters in New York with member states of the Organisation of Islamic Co-operation (OIC), organised by the Permanent Mission of Bahrain to the UN. The meeting was held in support of Bahrain’s candidacy for a non-permanent seat on the UN Security Council for the 2026-2027 term, ahead of the General Assembly vote scheduled for June .
