New Orleans, LA, March 24, 2025 – The National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) will present longtime scheduler and licensed dispatcher Joy Buoncuore with the Schedulers & Dispatchers (S&D) Outstanding Achievement & Leadership Award at the 2025 Schedulers & Dispatchers Conference (SDC2025), taking place March 25-27 in New Orleans.
Buoncuore serves as the supervisor of transportation scheduling for Constellation Energy, a position she has held since May 2024. She joined the company in 2016 as the senior transportation scheduler.
Previously, Buoncuore worked at Professional Flight Management Systems, Atlantic Aviation, DAL Global Services and Flight Safety International, where she began her career in aviation in 2000. She has held roles as a pilot and maintenance training scheduler, an FBO leader and trainer for both domestic and international airlines. She was also a company startup coordinator for a satellite business flight department.
She earned her FAA licensed dispatcher certificate from Flight Safety in 2018. Beyond her professional achievements, Buoncuore is actively involved in organizations including the Delaware Valley Business Aviation Association, Women in Aviation International, Women in Corporate Aviation, PRIDE and Women in Nuclear.

Buoncuore is the 16th recipient of the S&D Outstanding Achievement & Leadership Award, which was created in 2008 to recognize individuals who have shared their business aviation industry expertise, provided extraordinary service, exhibited leadership and made significant contributions to the scheduling and dispatching function.
