Linden Optometry Doctors Attend International Vision Expo

Pasadena, CA - October 15, 2009 - Several dozen doctors and opticians from Linden Optometry recently attended the International Vision Expo 2009 in Las Vegas, where over 11,000 vision-care professionals from around the world gathered at the Sands Convention Center to learn, share, and network with their peers and with industry suppliers.
Linden's doctors participated in numerous continuing education courses that provided informative and creative ideas on how to offer increased levels of service and convenience to patients, as well as methods for implementing the newest technologies in the exam rooms. They also attended "Evolving Standards in Glaucoma Care", "Advances in Age-Related Macular Degeneration", and "Pediatric Contact Lenses"

At the same time, Linden's opticians were learning about the latest in high-tech eyewear, including wavefront progressive lens designs, as well as the newest technologies for Linden's in-house eyeglass lab, and advances in electronic medical records. The opticians also reviewed thousands of new designer eyeglass styles from around the world, and selected the "cream of the crop" to bring back to Pasadena, including several exclusive lines to be unveiled over the next few months. Several of them had the opportunity to take photos with Paris Hilton, who was presenting her new line, the Paris Hilton Sunglass Collection"
